Did you know that you can catch Lyme Disease from your dog!? My dog died of a Lyme related infection, until now I did not know that it could be transmitted from a dog to a human. My dog use to be infested with ticks right before he died. At the time we did not know of the Lyme problem in the area so we did not get him Lyme prevention meds.

Check out this short video on it

Just copy and past the url I posted into your browser address bar. When you go on youtube.com you can search for stuff in the search box at the top.

Okay how about you goto www.youtube.com then in the search box type in "pets spreading resistant staph" (without the quotes) and press enter. Then click on the first video that comes up.

Thanks, I think I got it. It just briefly mentions Lyme, correct? I am interested because my Golden Retriever also died of Lyme disease and I was told there was a possibility of catching it from them. Do you think you caught Lyme from your dog? I think it is very possible in my case as he was a big "kisser" being a golden retriever.  (:  thanks alot!    D

No problem. Yea it was a brief mention of lyme. I am not sure where I got it but my symptoms started shortly after my dog had died of it. I never had the bullseye rash or a known bite. I think there is a good possibility but I will probably never know for sure.
