Hi everyone, I'm new here and have been so grateful for the collective wisdom and support!

I recently started bactrim and now feel a lump in my throat when i swallow.  Its not that bad but its been a week now and I'm wondering if anyone has felt that?

I have trouble swallowing.  I am on Biaxxin, Plaquenil, Spectracef.

Whe I first started having Lyme symptoms 3 years ago I had swallowing problems.  WhAT I am dealing with now is worse.

believing:: I had that when I first started. I am also on Bactrim and now a few other med's as well. If you can tolerate the bactrim it is a wonder drug for Lyme it has helped me tremendously, Give it a few months you should see improvement. Try not to lay down for at least 1 hour after taking it, it could effect your esophagus. The throat lump feeling has went away for me now TG.
Good luck to you.

Thank you for your replys. Its unnerving to wake up to potentially new symptoms each day after living a healthy life!

Yep it sure is. Just keep a record of all your symptoms. I put a date and rate each symptom on a scale from 1-10 and put it next to it. This way each month you can see if you are progressing.
Be well.
