Hey guys, I am going to a new Dr tomorrow. I am trying to find good solid information on lyme treatment and long term antibiotics so that I can guide my new Dr in the right direction. I am on antibiotics now (bought online) but they are expensive and if prescribed by a Dr they will be covered under insurance. Can anyone help with resources on long term antibiotic treatment? I have done alot of research in the past but I need something solid to bring my dr that supports long term antibiotics, in fact I need a few different documents. If you can help please do.

Thanks!

Burrascano's 2008 guidelines are now available. I was able to read them from betterhealthguy.com website.

I've done both the herbal and abx route. They are both rough with lots of herxing, etc. I suspect abx are better for me.

Start with the abx first and use herbs as an adjunct or followup.

IMO,
