Dry Mouth and Tooth Decay

Are dry mouth and tooth decay a part of Lyme? This started after I came down with Lyme. Hadn't had a decayed tooth in years and years before that. Has anyone experienced this?

I believe tmj and the teeth pain that come with it are part of lyme. I don't know if about tooth decay. Seems possible.

Just floss and brush like you normally would.

Also, try this as it helps my gums.

Get Vitamin C that is taken under the tongue and suck on it. You may want to work it into the gum areas that hurt.

I honestly believe I stumbled on something that helps with teeth pain.

I don't have a problem with tooth decay, but I have the worst dry mouth. In fact in the mornings my tongue will feel like sand paper and I will have to pull my teeth off my lips and I go through like 8 glasses of water a night. It is really awful. This has been happening for like the last year. My doctor says it is all my antibiotics. I don't agree though because it would happen when I was not on any antibiotics and now since I have been on IVs for a few months it has gotten better. So I think it is completely the lyme disease.

Some of the dry mouth would have to be caused by all the pain meds lymies are on. I also have been experiencing tooth decay with my Lyme. I never related it to the Lyme until now, I just thought it was from getting older (27) My teeth are so fragile now they chip easily.
