I posted last month on the 19th that I started feeling bad after 4 weeks on Ceftin 500MG 2x/day. Now 4 weeks to day again and I woke up feeling like crap. It's actually not as bad as it was last month but I still feel achy.

I have also noticed the past week or two another symptom is increasing. I am struggling to breath a lot more. Before I would just get out of breath if going up a flight of stairs. Now I notice even when I'm on the phone or sitting down. It comes out of nowhere. Is this something to be concerned about? It seems to happen after I take my antibiotics.

Hi virginialady76.  It sounds like you are having regular herxes, which is good.  ARe you taking anything with the Ceftin?

Have you been tested for all the co-infections?  The co-infection Babesiosis can cause the shortness of breath you describe.

No I haven't been tested for any co-infections. I don't have the money to go to a LLMD. cry Is there anything I can do on my own to relieve the breathing problems? I called the Infectious Disease Specialist and he told me he didn't believe it was related to Lyme. Not sure what else it could be though.

I agree that you should check out the other symptoms for babesia such as drenching sweats and fever that comes and goes.  It would be a good idea to see a LLMD if you can as they are the best at figuring out what it is you have - Believe me, in the long haul is is worth the money to know what you need to treat, how long, how much etc.  I was treating myself because my STUPID local doctor allowed me to make all the decisions as long as he got his check at the end of the visit.  I found out a year later (when I went to the LLMD) that I also had bartonella.
