does anyone get this? i get it very suddenly, and honestly, it is connected to barometric pressure changes. today, for example, it is very cloudy and rainy (low pressure) and the pants that were loose when i got dressed this morning, are now busting at the seams. i have a huge gut hanging over them. not only is it gross, but totally uncomfortable. i look like i am seven months pregnant. this bloating came on in the matter of an hour or two after i went to work.

does anyone experience this kind of abdominal bloating or swelling? i ate my usual bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, that's it. it always happens when the pressure drops!!!

I would say with the weather change that you are mold sensitive (or allergic). I get the bloating whenever I am around any mold or moisture outside. Does that sound right? Alot of your immune system is related to your gut.   D

I had that too!  I would start off the day fine and then swell as the day went on......every day.  I went for colon cleansing, did coffee enemas, did a parasite treatment at home and the bloating gradually went away.  I was also being treated with antibiotics at the same time.

A lyme friend of mine gets this when she reacts negatively to a food and it almost looks like she is pregnant. My food allergies/sensitivities make me swell all over. Interestingly, oats can cause this not only because of their own constituents, but they are usually contaminated with wheat and mold----two other allergic items. Food allergies can be tough to figure out, especially if the reactions are the delayed type,(delayed even up to a few days). I agree with the others comments too. Maybe try not eating oatmeal for a couple weeks, and then eat it again and watch for the swelling? Best wishes. bablymers mom
