If you read this book, did you find it helpful? Was it up lifting or depressing? Thanks : )

Yes. It's a pretty good book for when you're first starting to learn about Lyme. Comprehensive and a good resource when you have questions. The book just tries to be informative.

That said .... I closed the book any number of times and told my wife, "Lyme doesn't come packaged with any good news."

Hope I don't sound a little discouraged, but I am wondering how uplifting these books can be. Cause .... Lyme doesn't seem to come packaged with any good news.

Hi ria123.  I read the first edition of this book a long time ago, but I don't really remember much about it.  I don't know how the later addition differed.

I like "The Lyme Disease Solution" by Kenneth B. Singleton MD.

I like that book by Denise. I bought like 15 of them. But I think that I like my new book better
lIVING WELL WITH AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE.
Becuase you realilze that they are all heavily connected. You will relate to every symptom from all the diseases. It shows how lyme pretends to be everything. And how it is a domino effect.
It also offers great tips on how to deal with the immune system. I like it a lot. It made me less afraid of lyme.
2004 in Martha's Vineyard me and my two daughters then 11 mos and 6 all got Lyme Disease. This was only known to us because we found the tiny ticks on us and we got very ill. My dog also got lyme and he went lame.
We have fought it for 4 years to no avail.
We all got it again this summer is Texas.
I am now in treatment in Scottsdale Arizona at Envita.
