For the past 4-5 days, I've had sharp pains in my abdomen, sometimes every minute or so, at locations on both sides, about level with my navel and in line with my knees (that is, in-between the middle and the side).

Also, I have the constant feeling that something in there is a bit swollen and puffy. I have pain if I push these parts that feel inflamed.

Other info: I've had Lyme for 10 months, just tested + for Bartonella. I'm taking azithromycin (500mg) and Plaquenil (200mg bid) adding minocycline (100mg bid) for the Bartonella. I haven't done the Babesia test yet, going to do it tomorrow.

Could this be:

-liver inflammation? But it happens on both sides, not just the left side.

-problems with my connective tissue? maybe intestinal problems? It does not feel like it's in my gut at all. It feels like some non-gut organs are puffy and sore to the touch.

-symptoms of Babesia or Bartonella?

Anyone else had this kind of abdominal pain?

I have very similar problems although not as severe. It seems to be one of the many joys of LD. It is mostly on my Left hand side.

I have this but it feels more like the area between my skin and my colon/muscles. Here are some interesting articles I found on Pubmed.
