I'm so sorry to hear about your diagnoses. I did not have the same experience, but I DID have surgery recently, and I didn't have a major relapse (I too am almost 100% better after several years of treatment). I did go on abx again for a couple months after the surgery because I was feeling symptomatic again, but all the symptoms went away pretty quickly, and they may actually have just been residual effects of the anesthesia or my body trying to get better. Not sure. I also was diagnosed with cutaneous lymphoma (just affects the skin) while being treated for lyme, and I didn't have a relapse during that treatment either. But that treatment was just phototherapy -- nothing at all like chemo or radiation.
Do you still have a lyme or homeopathic doc you can talk to about all this?
Keep us posted on your progress -- we're all rooting for you.
