I have suffered for 3 years with terrible anxiety, jaw tightness, facial tingling, phantom tooth pain, flank pain, headaches, aching joints, neck/shoulder stiffness, heart palpitations, extreme fatigue, alcohol intolerance, exercise intolerance and lump on side of neck that everyone says is lymph gland but "nothing to worry about".  It goes on and one and have been the craziest years of my life.  All started with infection in my mouth leading to teeth being pulled and full year of dental work. Gyno says early menopause cause periods stopped abruptly and no estrogen so started on HRT.  First endo said not thyroid cause numbers were fine even though I had grave's disease 10 years ago.  New endo says mild hashimoto's but believes probably something else going on and going to test for lyme's and fibromyalgia.  Have days when I can barely lift arms, then that will leave and legs will be dragging and now sharp pains moving from joint to joint.
Just wondering if anyone has had similiar experience and could this be lyme's after all this time without getting sicker and sicker - not so much as a cold.  It's more like flareups although the anxiety is the worst and has only now subsided some with xanax.  I am just so tired of trying to figure it out.  Tests have revealed large kidney cyst (told they are common), high normetanephrines but no pheo, high thyroid antibodies,
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated and HOW DO I GET TESTED FOR LYME'S without simply walking into the lab I use cause they seem to screw up every test I go for?  Thanks a lot.

Sounds like your endo is testing or planning to test for it already.

Stick with this doctor while he rules some things out and gets to the bottom of this!

Hang in there!

If he doesn't test for it, request him to and say it's just to rule it out.

I hope you don't have it as it's no fun.

If you can find a hollistic MD in your area, I would suggest you go see one. They have bio feedback machines that can energy test your body. The thing is these machines are 95% accurate and often out prove blood tests. When I got tested it revealed I had two types of babesia, bartonella, and other thing going on like hormone inbalance, inflamed nervous system etc.

I also had alcohol intolerance, exercise intolerance, night sweats, gi symptoms, really bad panic attacks, etc. and my MD's try to tell me it's depression even though I am not depressed!

Wow, your symptoms sound very similar with mine and I know what you are going through, except I did not have an infection in my  mouth. Pain is a terrible issue (both physically and psychologically), especially when you don't have many answers. If you are considering being tested for lymes and it's co-infectections then you should seek an LLMD (Lyme Literate Medical Doctor). Here is the website and the person that you need to contact to find an LLMD doctor in your area (I got this info from another fellow Lymie on this website "Scorpio1960" who has been a tremendous help to me)
