I have come across some really great information about Vitamin C IV drips and how they are great for diseases, especially lyme. I used to live in Connecticut and downstate NY, but now I'm upstate (Central NY, more west), and need to find a practitioner that does IV Vit C infusions and also Glutathione as well. I'm having a VERY hard time finding any practitioners in the Tompkins County area.....might anyone have any suggestions? Medical treatment was much more readily available when I was in the "hub" of NYC/etc, but now that I'm up in the sticks shall we say, these things are so hard to come by and I'm very sick. I appreciate any input and feedback you might have.
Also, if you've had any success with this type of therapy, and how much/often you've done it.
Also, if you've done it while on antibiotic therapy at the same time.

Thanks all you lovely lymies!!!

Naturebabe: Most doctors that do IV therapy are members of ACAM, American College of Advanced Medicine. Their web site is www.acam.org . There is a physican finder link on there. I did 30 grams of Vit C with glutathione., twice weekly for a year and felt MUCH better.  D

I got huge doses of vit. c in a drip with my port at the clinic and also they have had me on huge amounts of it in powder and piolls foms. Think I am doing around 3,000 mg a day now.

Naturebabe- Dowa is right. ACAM will point you in the right direction in finding a doctor for IV therapy.

However, my experience was not as good as Dowa's. I did 6 months of 30 g of vitamin c IVs and glutathione 2-3 times per week without results.

There were people where I went that did feel better from having the vitamin c IVs- including one who's cancer went away. She was also doing chemo. treatment at the same time.

Thanks for responding Wilsonx. I appreciate it. I am sorry to hear that all of your valiant efforts with the C and Glutathione didn't provide the results you were looking for. I know how that can be-trying method after method, $ after $, and sometimes things that work for other's don't work for us. That's the roll of the dice for all of us! I did RIFE treatment and didn't get anything from it, after all that time and $ spent. argh.

I looked up the ACAM website (thank you all for letting me know about this!) and only found one practitioner within a 2 hour radius of me. I am going to call this morning and keep my finger's crossed!!!! There must be some kind of good light at the end of the long tunnel, on earth I mean. LOL. I am glad to hear that your friend found treatment with the chemo/vit c IV's. It's always nice to hear good news!! Best of health to you!
