Hi CajunGrl.  If you have never done a detox bath, I suggest trying it for 5-10 minutes instead of 20 to see how it affects you.  Depending on where you are in treatment, they may make you feel worse.  If you tolerate it well, then go up to twenty minutes.  I would think a few times a week would be good in the beginning as long as they don't make you worse.

Make sure you rinse off (cool water is good) after the bath and that you drink plenty of water.

I'm curious why the need to rinse off after a detox bath. Isn't a brisk rubbing of the skin (to remove dead skin cells, etc.) after the bath sufficient?

Thanks,

What do you guys put into your detox baths? I have just bought 35% FG Hydrogen Peroxide, and I need to find out how much to use (as it's very potent and dangerous), and how much epsom salt and baking soda.
What do you all use for your detox baths? Thanks!

Hi Razzle.  Rinsing washes off the salts and bathwater from your skin.  Cool water will close the pores.
