Does anyone know if Igenex will release results directly to me while waiting 4 weeks to go back to dr.?  I have been at least 3 possibly 4 years undiagnosed because of labwork which I was not privy to by a doctor.  I don't want to wait a month to get results.  I'd like to have them in hand while awaiting the apt. so I can be prepared with my questions regarding further treatment.  I'm not so sure about the llmd I have chosen.  As it is, he hasn't explained anything to me so I'd sure like to be able to have the appropriate questions ready.  Thanks a lot.

Hi springsjean.  I believe IgeneX will send results only to a doctor.  When did you have the tests done?  It typically takes about three weeks to get the results.

Ok thanks just went last tuesday but kind of would have liked to know what I'm looking at before I go back to dr. which is in 3 weeks but I guess I won't. Also, can you give me a clue as to what the next step probably is. Looks like I have had for at least 3 years. Everyone seems to think IV antibiotics. What does that entail? Do I have a port surgically put in and then then wear an IV bag or only at nite? Will I have further tests as to cardiac, brain, etc. or no? I know I'm jumping the gun but after three horrific years I'm ready to go full speed ahead. I also sent you an email (hope ok) as to how to find out if llmd I found is "good". He just didn't seem to take a lot of time with me and didn't explain much. Thanks so much for your help. It has taken me a lot of different forums (menopause, thyroid, anxiety) to get the answers I need but that's usually where I got the ones I needed. Thanks again.
