I don't know if anyone else has been having this problem but I have had terrible denal sensitivities. Nefferdum, meant to thank you because Listerine mouth wash has really helped me. Even if it hurts initially it has greatly reduced my discomfort. Dr Zhang feels is is due to Lyme Spirochetes that apparently love the gum line. He just gave me Allicinin ampules (developed for intravenous use) to apply with a cotton ball to my gums at bedtime. Will let you know how this woks.

Hi pcpc.  I had excrutiating tooth pain before I was diagnosed.  This was very strange for me because I had never had sensitive teeth.  I saw several dentists and they all said nothing was wrong.

Shortly after starting treatment, this would only happen during a herx.  For me, this symptom went away for good fairly quickly.  I always wondered if it could have been nerve pain.

I hope the Allicinin works.

I've had several occurrances of dental pain with no cause discovered by the dentist. Clove oil applied to the gums where the pain was caused the pain to move to an untreated location....so I put more clove oil on. It helped, the pain went away. I find chewing chicle-based gum when not experiencing the dental pain (not the synthetic gum base in most commercial gums) helps to prevent it, too...

Take care,
