Cool....my 12 year old friend posted this link for me. I don't want you guys to think that I have gottne smart all of a sudden or somethin...lol
ok...so if you see the words to this song. It wil pep you up. I suggest music that makes you want to stand up for yoursef, yes against all of the bs from all the dr.s
And songs that make you tap your foot...and want to dance is even better.
Sharing is caring...lol
Rock on...:>) turn smilewinkgrin yeah wink
2004 in Martha's Vineyard me and my two daughters then 11 mos and 6 all got Lyme Disease. This was only known to us because we found the tiny ticks on us and we got very ill. My dog also got lyme and he went lame.
We have fought it for 4 years to no avail.
We all got it again this summer is Texas.
I am now in treatment in Scottsdale Arizona at Envita.

Well my favorite music now is and was before lyme is for example
Chanchullo by Rubin Gonzalez. A poor wonderfu pianist from Cuba. He died at the age of 91 about 5 years ago. And it is so touching.
But while I was sick with Lyme. I was mad and hurting and this music and the video when he is in and out of the hospital and getting MRI's and losing his mind...I could "get it" better, than any love song...lol

I like the part where he says
that which not kills me
will only make me stronger.
I mean....(*&^%$#$%^&*
we all know here that lyme, cronic lyme is like a slow death. and all of the bs that they are all doing to us does not work.
and the $$$$$
so...to keep your head high....which is hard to do when you can't hold it up or think....
get some music that gets you up.....and listen to it when you get down. and play it over and over....get words that make you want to go forward and to continue.
I don't care if it is heavy acid rock....nasty hip hop....but no sad, songs...that will kill you....
Yes my kids thought it was very odd for their preppy mom to go getto.....lol
but I was only into the hell rasing music because that is where I was...in lyme hell.
I also suggest getting the ipod with the video screen. And of course when you are in lyme hell you cannot go to the store and buy one much less know how to load them on there. so have a 12 year old do it for you. it will take them 5 min. and who cares if they think you are dumb.
sit down and listen to new stuff....see what makes you want to slap up your dr...lol
and instead of hurting yourself...or others...
listen to the tunes.
the advantave of having the video along with the music.
when you have a headache...like always...you can play it low and watch it...and get pumped up visually as well.
I listened to two songs over and over....two....I would tune everyone out..and put it on. I needed it really badly. When I was getting like my third MRI...the nurses asked me what kind of music I wanted to listen to doing my 45 minute MRI.
I told them the nasties rap station that they could find on the satelite.
I was mad. But he made me feel like fighting lyme. And it made me tap my foot and dance...so for what it is worth.
A little boy was talking about how music helped him too. When he was unabe to walk or go to school and was watching his life go by......his ipod helped him too.

I love that song. I have it on CD and would listen to it every morning before my college class. I had to push myself to make it through, but I did. I still don't know how I did it. Very motivating song!
