My feet and lip will not stop tingling.  Does anyone else have this 24/7?  Is this Lyme or a co infection?  Thanks.

Me too, I think it is Nueroloigical. I am also DXed with MS and have Lesions in my brain. 2 years ago after much abx treatment including IV, MY MRI showed almost no lesions on my brain. I was almost completely healed symptoms gone.

Well now it's coming back my legs have been numb for 3 weeks and my whole body was vibrating last night. I really thought I had beat this thing. Going for MRI tonight, can't wait to see if my lesions are back. Not looking forward to seeeing my Nuero. I live in Oregon were all my Drs say there is no Lyme even with my 8 CDC positive tests. The only thing they will treat me for is MS. I am so sick of this.

Hi All,

I've had the tingling since 2000, it started in my finger tips on my right hand and then also my left hand.  After awhile it started in my toes on both feet.  It slowly marched up my arms and legs and on occasions has included my neck and back of head and lower part of my face.  I have just started to have a weird feeling in my right leg where it feels prickly on my calf and thigh.  Always something new.

Forgot to add that this has been my one constant symptom since 2000.  The doctor thinks I was infected in the early 80's from some of my symptoms, things I didn't even know were related to LD.  None of the dr's I saw for any of the early symptoms even suspected LD, and I didn't even know anything about it at the time.

i don't get it 24/7 but i get it usually when im running fevers and feeling exceptionally sick which is a few times a week. I usually get it on the right portion of my lips and tongue and up the right side of my face. Also my right thumb, middle finger, and index finger as well as my feet will get tingly also. Quite bizarre.

ReallyLyme:  You said,

"I live in Oregon were all my Drs say there is no Lyme even with my 8 CDC positive tests. The only thing they will treat me for is MS. I am so sick of this".

This is irresponsible to the point of negligence.  If you still have all the evidence of your CDC positives, maybe you should contact the AMA, or perhaps an attorney.  MS, Lyme -- this is all extremely serious!

Please try Magnesium Supplements, it worked for me, I take 400mg of magnesium citrate, vitamin D, and 10mg of B6 and I think it got the neuropathy better, you cant loose anything by trying it, excess magnesium leaves your body via your digestive tract, should you get diareah or low pulse cut back, I am goingg to increase to 600mg of Magnesium and see what happends, I also take 250mg of Calcium

After reading this yesterday, I found info in an on-line google book. (Titled "Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, and Lyme Disease", but don't remember the author) The belief was that detoxing would remove metal contamination from the body and that it was the metals settling in at nerve ending which cause the tingling. My guess is that most of the time a body lives successfully with the stuff, but when lyme invades the nervous system, the body can't handle both. The section I read advocated a Dr. K...(?)'s advice to take cilantro and chlorella to get rid of mercury. Who knows what really works

Too much B12 can also cause this.

This is interesting. I have had these tingly vibration feelings lately.
I am on a med that takes away folic acid from red cells but am supplementing for it very well with pharmacudical and natural things.

So I wonder what is happening?

Some people will say this is related to the bugs .. parasites?

Hi to LymeUnknown..who said they live in Oregon and they are having trouble getting treatment...I also live in Oregon and I was diagnosed with Lyme last year through OHSU by blood tests that i insisted they give me..they refused to believe my tingling and numbness in my whole left side was caused by lyme or the seizure i had following that..i did find an LLMD who is a holistic doctor and works with antibiotics..she is wonderfully..i would be happy to email you her name and number if you contact me :)
