I need to see a Psychiatrist. I am too depressed. I was wondering what you all take to help this depression. It is not new, it is just becoming unbearable for me. My days and nights are blurred. I dont want to wake up anymore.

wellbutrin 200 mg/50 mg paxil has been great. the depression/anxiety has been my worst symptoms by far!!! u dont even care about getting better.

I care about things again and it makes me want to keep going and staying visible in life.

I suffered horrible depression from all the illness as well. It was rough.
I didn't take any meds, but got out of it with therapy, diet change, some great books and exercise.

When I found out I had bartonella and treated that my depression got much better. I didn't care much about anything, even the people I love the most. St. John's Wort helps.

I've heard Pristiq is really good for depression. It works on both chemicles in your brain instead of just one. From what I've read and what my doctor said, you don't gain weight on it either. I was prescribed this but haven't started it yet so I can't tell you anything from experience but from what I've read, it seems to work really well. Look it up on the Internet.

I hope this clears soon and you feel better. I know all too well how you feel. Hugs!

I was told I had bartonella too and I think this co-infection has alot to do with anxiety and depression. Even Lyme rage.

Hi,

For me depression was relevied as soon as I got my blood sugars under control, the depression was horrible, I felt like I couldnt move from my chair, I decided to test my blood sugar and it was high, I cut the carbs out and the first night after a dinner of no carbs I was able to get my kids to bed and do the dishes, I went on Metformin for about two years and now am dealing with the diabetes with diet and exercise.

I got diabetes and high blood pressure with Lyme Disease, most doctors will only do a fasting blood test and say your fine, but you really need to test your sugar level one hour after a meal and get an idea how high your glucose level is after a carb meal

wow do I know how you feel? why yes I do.I've sunk so low I asked God to take my life. She didn't.So we're stuck here for now.I try to stay focused focused on spirituality(where's the barf bag). What is that? You tell me.I'm not sure but I keep focusing on it any way.Eastern philosophy really helps me bundles.Check out Lama Surya Das for instance or Thich Nhat Hahn.(budhist masters)or Depak Chopra.I really admire and respect them.If nothing else budhism is a wonderful psychology.Very insightful. Keep the "Light" on! byeeeeeeeeeee...

I am so chemically sensitive! Ive tried more than 15+ different anti depressants over the course of 20 years and they all had serious side effects and I felt doomed until a NMD prescribed Deprenyl (aka Selegriline) old fashioned medicine and Lithium orotate + low dose Naltrexone transformed my life.

I took one dose of Lyrica two years ago and it launched me into the deepest darkest depression!! Whoa there! it was bad! I was listless and six weeks of low dose Deprenyl, Naltrexone and Lithium brought me out of it.
I have Lyme induced bipolar-like symptoms and felt that nothing would treat me without sedating me and with all the fatigue..who needs sedation!!??

My Dad passed away one month ago to the day. I'm sad, feeling my feelings but nothing like I would be without my magic bullets I just know it!!

I get all these meds from a compounding pharmacy that I fax my RX to and they mail it to me. the best prices anywhere!! Belmar Pharmacy in Co.
