Don't worry about whining. We ALL have days like that. I was doing ok and then... WHAM, I had an episode that was totally different than any I've had in the past. I started searching the net and found this website. It is AWESOME. I have found all kinds of info I didn't previously know about Lyme. I will be sharing with my Dr.
There are so many things about this stupid disease that you have NO control over. I do not like feeling helpless. I am also tired of so many docs not taking Lyme seriously. I wish there was a standard treatment. I fell for a "controversial" treatment. I am now with a "real" doc and she is treating me and we are learning together. I just wish I knew how long I have really had this junk. I think for at least 15 yrs. I also think it was really brought out by the fact that I came down with pneumonia in Jan. 2008. I have missed so much work since that happened. It is a struggle to make it each week and work a full 5 days.
Hang in there.... and hope you can enjoy the holiday weekend.

Sit in the sun. It can help with the pain PROVIDED you don't get heated.
Bit June 08. Treated with 10 days of doxy 200 mgs.

Issues in Aug. Retreated in Sept. 08. Six weeks doxy 200 mgs.

Add Biaxin for six months.

Stopped all treatment for six weeks.

Still on doxy 200 mgs after another recent rash!

Doing okay but want to make sure I rid myself of it or any remaining stuff.

I'm so sorry you are feeling bad and hurting like that. I just posted something very similiar. I was okay yesterday and today I feel like I've been hit by a truck. This disease is something else.

I hope you feel better soon.
2003 symptoms started with very intense panic attacks and anxiety. Also had sound and smell sensitivities. Was in and out of the hospital from 2003-2005. Diagnosed with panic disorder.
2007 found an LLMD and was diagnosed with Lyme. Didn't start treatment.
2008 symptoms came back with a vengence. Muscle pain, joint pain, floaters, stiff neck, rib pain, slow thinking, brain fog, etc...
2009 went back to see LLMD. Diagnosed again with Lyme plus co-infections....Babesia and Bartonella.
Illnesses:-Chronic Lyme Disease,Hashimotos Thyroiditis, Ulcers, Hypoglycemia
Medications:-Biaxin 250mg to start (starting slow and working my way up, Mepron(babesia), Ultram(muscle/joint pain), Thyro Complex 60mg(Thyroid), Probiotics ,Caproyl(intestinal candidas),Psyllium Powder(intestinal cleansing support),Bentonite Magma(absorbent aid for intestinal detoxification)
-Plus a ton of other supplements
