Good idea to bring this up. These vitamins are essential...but it's essential to get the dose right as overdosing can cause neurological damage -- I just read that! Wonderful huh? We're trying to get well and we're introducing more problems...

Can the LLMD find out? I'm taking 1000 mgs B 12 every other day. The other day, my face went numb. hasn't happened since, but still!

If you supplement B vitamins make sure you get a B-Complex which has all the B vitamins in the correct proportions. We need different dosages of each one. As far as blood tests for Bs, B-12 is the only one that they will most likely do, the other Bs are water-based and will show different with each test depending on diet, stress, etc. D

I think I was overdosing the B´s; I felt soooo horrible with such an increase of all weird symtoms I had at that time; I was not dxed with lyme back then, but was told the usual stuff like its in my head, menopause, vitamine / supplement deficiency, stress, more stress, overworked,.....endless blasibla.
I was doing about 200% of WHO`s Vit B recommendation; maybe I am somewhat delicate with that stuff, but I was also reading that an overdose of the B Vits can cause similar symtoms than a lack of them. I think this is a try and error journey to find out.

Hoping - do they say how long it takes till the symptoms from overdosing go away??
