I was diagnosed with MS in 1991. I have taken Copaxen, Betaseron, Avonex, was told none of these were helping so I could go on a study drug. Basically, over 18yrs I am getting worse. March 23, 2009 I was diagnosed with Lyme's disease at Sierra Integrative Medical Clinic in Reno, NV. They said I had one of the worst cases they had seen in a while. I called my neurologist's office and they said no I didnt have Lyme's I had MS because of the lesions on my MRI. I am starting Lyme's treatment this June.

pepperdog8.

my MRI shows i have 10 to 15 lesions in my brain and i tested positive for lymes. the ID i whent to wouldnt treat me till i saw a nero to rule out MS, the nero said i do not have MS. so it is possable the your lesions are caused from lymes.

Good lyck in your treatment

Rotten Dog I want you nuero. Just saw my Nuero all she wanted to know was what MS injectable I wanted. If  have lesions it has to be MS. She did not want to talk about Lyme. So I had been looking into Copaxane there are some things about it I like and I don't think it would harm my Lyme. But then I asked since it is an everyday pre mixed injectable doesn't it have mercury in it she said probably.

Isn't mercury and alluminun bad for any person, excepialy someone wth Nuero problems she had no answer.

I told her I could not trust advice from someone who won't even consider Lyme

So i broke down and my family is going to help me fly to Conneticut and see Dr K a Nuero. I have seen him years ago and loved him.

I am so happy. I am so lucky yo have such a ssupportive Father to help me. I love you Daddy!
