OK.... so my latest burst of inspiration (inspiration to get better is my only inspiration)..  is to go after candida overgrowth, which I'm pretty sure I have.  So.. I ordered some ThreeLac to go along with my doc's script of diflucan.   So.. after taking ThreeLac and diflucan for the last 2 weeks, my head pain/headaches and stiff necks have been worse.   Also, I can see the yeasty-type die off in my poop.

1.  Am I herxing?

2.  Do I continue the aggressive treatment and will power thru the increased pain?

3.  Do I even have candida overgrowth?  Maybe I just have lyme/babs?

Thanks as always, take care everyone..

Chief

Chief,

I'm sorry you are going through this. I know first hand what yeast overgrowth is like. Do you get it on your skin? That would be a good clue that you do have an overgrowth. Also, did your doctor do a mouth swab to check for yeast? That's another way you can tell.

I don't know what to tell you about staying on or stopping your current treatment. Maybe talk to your doctor to see what's best.
