I swear, this man makes me laugh. We have this thing between us where we joke around with each other alot. We've been married for 15 years and have always been like this. He keeps me going and fills me with hope.
Anyway, I was always that kind of person to keep myself up and looking good. I always have makeup on even if I'm just going down the road, LOL. I know, I'm weird but I was raised like that. Well yesterday, I told him that I was so sorry I've been looking like crap lately. He says, "That's okay. I married you for better or for worse. I just didn't think the "worse" would be this soon, but I love you anyway". I about
died laughing. I truly needed a good laugh too. You would have to know how we are with each other to understand. It was just so funny to me. The man tells me I look beautiful when I KNOW I look like death run over one million times.
Anyway, just thought you all would get a kick out of that.

That's so sweet. I don't know you personally but do understand. I think it's great he makes you laugh. A good sense of humor and laughter is priceless and as far as I'm concerned it's one of the necessities in a marriage. Now, can't he give you your B-12 injections? LOL
My ex still makes me laugh but unfortunately other necessities were lacking. lol

Forestcall: Thanks so much. I don't have many friends left but I'm glad I still have my husband. I think this disease is bringing us closer.
Scorpio: Him give me my B-12 shots!?! Ha! Not no, but hell NO!! LOL. He did give me injections before but the needle was very small. No way will I let anyone give me the B-12. LOL. I don't even like the nurse giving me my Depo shots. Haha!

Yeah, my husband's great too. I was kinda concerned when I found out from several neighbors that they thought he was SINGLE! because I never get past the front lawn with my robe on - haha!
I don't know what I'd do without him. I told him that if the tables were turned, I'd probably left him years ago - haha!

That is funny! It really is a good thing to keep humor in the relationship. And they are a lot less critical of us than we are of ourselves. It has taken me 24 years of marriage to learn that, and I'm finally accepting myself as I am at the age of 43.

Jelaine,
That's is sad and funny at the same time! Haha! My neighbors don't see me either. The most I do is
open the door and look out....then close it again. I just don't want to be bothered right now. I'm not too much in good moods lately, LOL.

Turquoise,
My husband must love me. I was like ummmm 70 pounds lighter when he met me, LOL.
I'm glad you and your husband have a good relationship. We all need someone in our lives.

Debbie,
Thanks so much. He can still get on my last nerve sometimes, LOL but I do cherish him.
