Anyone ever hear of Detoxamin? I was reading on another Lyme Disease board and someone's doctor put them on this to detox. They are suppositories. I looked it up and it said it was good for heavy metals but nothing about bacteria. The EDTA in it is supposed to bind to the heavy metals in your body. I wonder if it works for Lyme bacteria?

Does anyone here do a detox through the "bottom area"? If so, what do you use? I believe we have to get this junk out every way possible.

Hi Cajun Girl,

No, I never heard of Detoxamin.    I detox through my "bottom area" and still do.   When I first read about it I thought I would never do that, the idea of it just seemed really gross and to be honest, I didn't have the "guts" at first (this is when I was sick).    I didn't want to insert anything in that "area".  Then so many people I knew on another forum were doing the coffee enema's so finally I did it and it wasn't as bad as I thought.

The reason why coffee enema's are so healthy (and I still continue to do them) is because organic coffee contains choleretics which are substances that increase  the flow of toxin-rich bile from the gallbladder.

This colon cleanse helps purge the colon and liver of accumulated toxins, dead cells, and waste products.

Dr. Max Gerson (Gerson Institute) states that the coffee enema is effective in stimulating a complex enzyme system involved with liver detoxification and uses them on cancer patients.

I bought a enema bag at this site:

http://www.enemakit.com/

And you can read more about coffee enema's here:

http://www.enemakit.com/Enema_solutions.html

After doing this procedure, I felt more energy, it helped my brain fog , and it's really healthy and very safe.   Taking milk thistle afterward is very helpful as well.

Hope this helps,

Denise

Wow Denise, thanks for all if the info. I think it's gross too but from what I just experienced, I need to get all those little buggers out and I'm willing to try it.

Is there a certain brand of coffee that should be used? LOL.

I have wondered about the coffee enemas as well. In your opinion, would it be something safe to do if you have had your gall bladder removed?

Never heard of detoxamin. Back in April, when I thought I was going to fight this without IV, I bought a homeopathic detox kit from a different health food store than I usually go to. I started it about a week before the IV, and the doctor asked me to go off all the extra herbs and supplements during treatment in case they might interfere with the med. so I can't tell you if it works. As far as enemas, I had thought of that too, but at this point I'm still trying to prevent having to run to the bathroom and I've been off the IV for a week, so not ready to add anything until I get that straightened out.

Hi all!

Cajun Girl, as long as the coffee is organic, it doesn't matter what brand, I go for the least expensive or if one is on sale.  I grind my coffee myself so I usually buy the beans.  LOL!   Believe me, when I first heard of this I said to myself "no way am I doing this!"....  but people I knew felt sooooooo much better so I had to "force" myself to do it.. It really sounds worse than it is.    Maybe they should come out with a brand named "Butt Coffee", ha!

Traveler, yes, it's safe to do without having a gallbladder, not to worry.

rcenter, I would drink Aloe Master mixed with Green Vibrance.   I don't think people realize the benefits of Aloe..

TS, sorry that you have the runs, hope you feel better!  I forget what foods are binding.

Well, happy trails!

Denise
