So here we all are...just another day in Lyme ville!

What radical treatment could we all try (besides Malaria therapy)?

I'm game. I'm SO very sick of this today.

I want to be done with it.l

hopingToFindCure - I agree - I hate Lyme - the way it makes me feel sucks. I try to be greatful and know there is light somewhere at the end of the tunnel. Some people have illness that no matter what will never get better.

For me it is hard to believe that a little tick can make us so sick, I have to say it kicks butt quickly. When your muscles hurt just brushing your teeth - you know it is bad.

Heck!!! I still can't figure out what sx are being caused by what 'condition'!!!
For me lately, that's what has been driving me nuts!!

Hoping: I get that way a couple of times a week! I sooooooo understand!! I 'received' my infection at a very early stage in my life.

Sometimes I walk around my house saying "I am soooo sick & tired of being sick & tired!!!!

The line is faded not showing where Lyme came in. I became a new Mommy n my Lyme decided to show itself. Swollen elephant like knee and finger and limiting back pain. Bell's palsey, weight loss as if I had no muscle on my bones anymore. And much more text book lyme symptoms. To a Lyme doc, after alot of there is nothing wrong with you and a recommend to counceling,he said V this is Lyme. What kept me pressing on I had Lyme while I was pregnant. I know I was not infected while pregnant. I am watching her with an eagle eye. God Bless everyone. Love Veronica. Were the ones who know about Lyme not the doctors. Isnt that just mad? Backwards. I'm sure seeing some good stuff on Low dose naltrexone. I am surprised more people aren't on it. I'm planning on trying to push my Dr for this, before starting abx.
Lyme in NC in 1971? Suspect TBI: Fully engorged tick followed by high fever and tonsillitis. Follwed by , lumps on neck,  chronic tonsillits w/ constant low grade to recurring high (104) fevers, severe unexplained neck stiffness and acute neck pain.   Followed by tonsillectomy, urinary tract infections, miscarriage, appendicitis while pregant, chronic severe back pain. Followed by depression, mild anxiety, mitral valve prolapse, and hypglycemia.  Was this a TBI??

Bit again couple of times, lyme suspect bite Mother's Day 2007. Bite, symptoms, lyme specific antibodies on the most lyme specific band of all = 39 IgG.  Still awaiting appt w/ LLMD.

I was on LDN for over a year and it didn't do anything for me. That's not to say that it won't work for others though.

I'm thinking of asking my doc (how is lyme-friendly, but not an LLMD) about starting LDN.
I can't figure out what else to do, so I'm just throwing darts & trying whatever tx it might land on!!!

Youre brave traveler, but what have you got to lose.

You cannot argue with success!

Anyways, today i'm too tired to think I guess. I didn't sleep on Sunday at all. Personal reasons. Not LYme. I slept like a baby for nine hours last night, but today in the afternoon. pooped right out.

Now i'm just waiting for night to come to hit the hay.

Does anyone's head feel kind of hollow but heavy?

Have you tried CLO2 (MMS)

I'm no expert or anything but it has helped me. :-)

Hi HoneyStewPew,
This is actually a very old thread - I'm the only member that is still here.

Also MMS is not a safe protocol to use.
": FDA warned consumers not to consume or use Miracle Mineral Solution, an oral liquid solution also known as "Miracle Mineral Supplement" or "MMS." The product, when used as directed, produces an industrial bleach that can cause serious harm to health. The product instructs consumers to mix the 28 percent sodium chlorite solution with an acid such as citrus juice. This mixture produces chlorine dioxide, a potent bleach used for stripping textiles and industrial water treatment. High oral doses of this bleach, such as those recommended in the labeling, can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and symptoms of severe dehydration."
www.fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch/SafetyInformation/SafetyalertsforHumanMedicalProducts/ucm220756.htm

But because I don't always agree with what the gov't has to say about things, here is another report:
"MMS is extremely nasty stuff, and the medical advice given is that anyone who has this product should stop using it immediately and throw it away. In Canada it was banned after causing a life-threatening reaction.

Intrigued, Rhys returned to the MMS website and found some helpful instructions: "Basically, after making it up, you take a few drops of it. You judge if you're getting better by how nauseous you feel after taking it. Seriously.""

So please be very, very careful.
