Hi everyone,
i am writting on behalf of my sister, she has had lyme and all of its coinfections for 8 years now, but has only been receiving treatment the last four years. She has done tons of oral antibiotics, IV treatment with a picc line, bassilin shots, tons of stuff
lately, the bartonella has been really really bad. the rash came back, and her symptoms are worse then before. she has spasms in her muscles, horrible headaches, body aches, she can never get into a comfortable position no matter what she does, terrible stomach pain (she doesnt eat much from the stomach pain and nausea and is losing tons of weight)
the herxes she is getting are really bad, she is getting anxious, angry and aggressive and i just dont know what to do, please if any of you have any suggestions for medicines, creams for the rash, good doctors (we are in teh northeast US) anything at all, i would be so grateful
thank you so much

For Bart I'm taking Bactrim, Zhang's HH capsules (2 - 3 times a day), using a rife machine 2 times a week, getting TBM therapy, doing Cowden's protocal, Taking Carnivora and teasel root tincture. Juicing also helps. I'm juicing Kale, Garlic, Parsley, Carrots, celery and beets. For the first few weeks I had some nasty herx's. For my rash I am using Ketoconazole (prescription cream). I am also taking Colloidal silver (1 tablespoon 3 times a day).

She is still very confused, and gets very bad herxes over small doses of medication. After only half a leviquin she was really sick. she wants to know what is something she can take for the nausea?

I've taken Rifampicin or Levaquin in the past. Right now I'm taking 2 HH caps 3 times a day. I was feeling pretty crappy until the past few days. I'm also using Testosterone cream and taking a low dose of hydrocortisone. My testosterone and adrenal levels were very low. I may be feeling better now because of the steroids but I'm not sure.

Jc27, someone lent me a rife machine but I haven't used it for the lyme frequencies because I was told by a few that it cannot be used while on antibiotics. Are you doing it at the same time with antibiotics?

You can rife while on abx, but it may not be as effective due to the abx make the lyme go into the cyst form where the rife cannot kill them. That is the reason why they say not to rife while on abx unless it's a cyst buster.

I'm actually doing the rife for Bart. I take grapefruit seed extract for the cyst form lyme.

jc27 when you rife for bart do you get a herx?? I always do but I've heard that rife isn't effective for bart. I'm thinking of doing more for bart, just not sure what yet. It sounds like you've got it covered with all the stuff you do.

I also herx when I take the GFSE. After about a week, i get a big herx so I know it's doing something.

I do notice that I get very tired after doing the Rife machine. I haven't had any major herxes from it.

Hello Jc27,

I'm new and found my way to your post on Rifing for Bart. I have the old B3 w/Amp which is the predecessor to the GB4000? or something like that. Anyway, it's a contact machine.

Can you tell me which frequencies you use for Bart? The user manual for mine doesn't have any programs and thus frequencies for Bart so I obtained them from the CAFL list. They don't seem to help much. Thanks!

Sandra

I'm not sure of the frequencies but the woman that I'm doing therapy with found them on line.

Be careful of Levaquin. It gave me tendonitis and I have not been the same since. Four months of pain especially at night. I also was very emotional from the Levaquin and it can cause psychological damage. When the airplane went down on the river last winter, I collapsed crying. I also had angry episodes when I felt like I just couldn't tolerate anyone or anything. It did help the bart though. My mind cleared up a lot.

For bartonella I take HH capsules. I currently take 3 capsules 4 times a day but I am boosting that up to 16 a day soon. It is expensive. I also take 1000 mg grapefruit seed extract and 1500 mg TOA free cats claw for lyme. I am doing pretty well most of the time.

Has anyone ever heard of DR. Shaller in Naples, Florida? He supposedly treats and has a patent on a test for Bartonella. He claims to be able to identify the different strains of bart and which treatment is best for which strain. he is expensive at $875 per hour and doesn't take insurance. Has anyone here ever seen this guy? Is he legit or just another profiting from these awful ailments?

Yes, I have his book although I have not invested the money to speak with him. He advertises a free 5 minute consultation which I took advantage of but he told me nothing except nothing works to cure Bart except what he knows and you must pay him $500 for a half hour consultation to get that information. His book is the most expensive book I have ever purchased and also tells you nothing except what does not work. He has a lot of fuzzy black and white pictures in it of bart skin rashes etc. His web site gives much better pictures so the book is useless. I was lucky to have several people email me that had spent the money to consult with him. They were all told the same thing, to take 20 HH capsules a day for bartonella. Apparently Zhang is friends with Schaller and has agreed to double the mg in his HH capsules. I emailed Zhang to ask about when I could buy it and was told the new HH capsules are sill in customs. More than likely he is trying to sell out all the old bottles before offering the new double dose. I hope it is not double the price. In Schallers book he says cumanda and clove bud oil taken "in very high doses" will also cure bartonella. He says what is recommended is "very small". Therefore when you use logic, 3 hh capsules being very small, 5 being small, 9 being average, 12 being above average, 15 being high and 18 being very high.. . . Use that for the cumanda also. If you are to take 30 drops a day, very high would be at least 6 times that much. It is expensive. So far I am taking 12 working up to 15 today and having no problem with it. I am doing just as well as abx, infact better as I have no yeast or other side effects.
I tried ordering the hh from another online company and got something completely different. Zhang's hh smells and tastes just like dead fish. It is so horrible I can't tell you. But the herb I bought from the other company has no smell or bad taste. It is different. Someone on here said they located the company in China selling the houtynia to Zhang but it was too expensive to buy as an individual. I could not find out the name of the company. One bottle of hh has 45 capsules and costs about $32 so it would be about $430 a month to get enough of this herb to cure the bart - and who knows how long it takes to cure - Schaller says "a long time". I am hoping the Zhang is kind enough, rather than exploitive, to double the megagrams in the capsules without upping the price.

I'm taking HH from Nutramedix.  A naturopath told me to take 20 drops twice a day.  Doesn't sound near as expensive as the capsules from Dr. Z.

Amongst my worst symptoms is anxiety so I just started taking lithium orotate.  it is recommended in the book Ten Best Treatments for Lyme.  It is supposed to protect the brain from the toxins.  I just started so I cannot tell you yet if it is working but it seems there are few side effects so I am giving it a try.  Perhaps if nothing else it may help her emotionally.
