Heating pad or hot water bottle placed on the belly where the pain is can sometimes soothe and relax the muscles and reduce the pain.
Also, you might want to try a bland diet for a few days, such as the B.R.A.T. diet (Banana, Rice, Applesauce, Toast) to see if that helps calm down the stomach pain.
Make sure your doctor knows about your pain, too.
