LK, by the 'looking for info phase', I was just responding to Jendays who said above that she used to only come here for information, but it has grown into so much more.
yes, I believe that I have lyme because of my positive 39 ( IgG) band from the crappy Quest test. I don't know and can't find any other reason for having a positive 39.
Still, even tho I have so many symptoms, added to my recall of the months following my problem bite, I am still looking for answers. I still wonder if it is possible that having +39 can mean anything else, for example that I was infected at one time, thus the antibodies, but that I am no longer actively infected. It seems a dumb question, because if this were true, I would not have any symptoms, would I?
Still, just as most everyone does, I experience my own 'denials'. I know that I am not well, and I remember too well what happened to me after that bite. But I am near as ill as most people on here, so of course, I will still question this in me. Does that make sense?
I am hoping and praying that I can learn something more certain from my LLMD appt tomorrow.
Lyme in NC in 1971? Suspect TBI: Fully engorged tick followed by high fever and tonsillitis. Follwed by , lumps on neck, chronic tonsillits w/ constant low grade to recurring high (104) fevers, severe unexplained neck stiffness and acute neck pain. Followed by tonsillectomy, urinary tract infections, miscarriage, appendicitis while pregant, chronic severe back pain. Followed by depression, mild anxiety, mitral valve prolapse, and hypglycemia. Was this a TBI??
Bit again couple of times, lyme suspect bite Mother's Day 2007. Bite, symptoms, lyme specific antibodies on the most lyme specific band of all = 39 IgG. Still awaiting appt w/ LLMD.
