I've had the above symptoms for the past three weeks.  Since my rash was only last week (7/14 and 7/15) I'm hoping to catch the bug early, but need a sympathetic internist who knows that the blood tests are crap and will prescribe doxycycline.  I've even had moments of extreme mental confusion where I'm not sure what thought I had just a moment ago.  I'm 29 years old!!!
Can anyone help?  I'm in NYC.

Welcome to HW Lyme Boards, sorry you had to meet us this way!

I am glad you are aware of enough to get treatment asap. Your chances of a 100% recovery are very good!

I hope Ticker will be on soon, as she is our "Guru" for Dr.'s and I am sure she will have a suggestion or two for you.
