IV ceftriaxone - the Teva generic for Rocephin - Only $170 for 30 vials!!

I had to post this as soon as I found out. Without any help from insurance, I had the Costco pharmacy order me generic Rocephin from the company TEVA, and it only cost me $179.00 for a box of 30 vials. That is 1 month of use!! this is great news because the non-generic form costs over 2 thousand dollars. There is hope for us. By the ceftriaxone from TEVA to save money!! Good luck everyone!

Thanks for sharing. That's a fantastic price. When I called Costco I was quoted a much higher price but I guess it all depends on location and timing.

I found an infusion company (Infuserve) in Florida that provides iv meds (balls), pharmacist/nurse on call 24 hours a day to answer questions and all supplies (saline, heparin, alcohol wipes, bandage change kit, gloves, etc.) for $187 per week. Shipping was approximately $52 and can be arranged once a month as opposed to once a week to save money. I realize this is much more than $179 per month but still much less than $700 per week.
