Would this be available from any GNC type stores, health food stores, organic markets, or local 888 market, or  must it be ordered (and payed thru out the nose) thru Zhang and sites like that?  how would one know if it is a quality product?

I am preparing to kick some babesia 'A'! (uh.... soon as I get my sh--t together..... )

+Lyme, it is important to get a high-quality Artemisinin.  Allergy Research also known as Nutricology is one good brand.  I found the best price at Fern's Nutrition http://www.fernsvitamins.com/Digestive/artemisinin.html

Are you going to also be taking a prescription anti-malarial?

I hope you kick some big Babs bootie!

Ticker, for some reason my LLMD did not prescribe a babs rx yet. He wants me to have the Fry tests to check for RM, Erlich, myco, etc. I can't afford the tests and I won't be going back to him, so I'm going to do what I can til I can get in to another MD. I have a Quest test that clearly shows babs, so hoping I won't have a problem getting rx.

Thank you for the link!

Reading about doxy says it treats malaria -- do you think it is effective against babs? I will refuse to say it is too hard to get rid of because I'm going to get rid of it!

Hi +Lyme.  I don't think Doxy is effective for Babesiosis.  I know that many Lyme doctors now prescribe Artemisinin along with Mepon and the appropriate antibiotic.

I hope you can see another doctor soon.  Do you think your current doctor may prescribe Babesiosis treatment since you had a positive test from Quest?  It may be worth asking him.

Yeah, I'm guess I'm gonna try asking him to, Ticker.

Also, don't they sell worm meds for kids over the counter? Think any of these could help? I'm sure you all are laughing, but I seriously wonder? Trying to do a little thinking outside the box......

+Lyme, i have thought of this also in a different way tho, by useing vet meds. i have penn in my frig, but i cant take it :( as for wormer i use ivomec cattle wormer for my dogs and blue has been on it for 9 yrs now, and he still got lyme. so i wouldnt think it would help to rid one of lyme.

i did think of asking my vet to give blue a script for abx but for me really..lol as he is as big as i am, and we were both on the same tummy meds at 1 time. its sad we have to think outside the box, and cant place our trust in the Drs as it should be.
