Doxy was prescribed as preventative when I had a new tick bite. I've been taking it for a month now, but not at the usual recommended dose (Dr misprescribed).  And I've skipped a few doses too, to see if it was causing increased depression and anxiety.
Once, I decided to go on and finish the Doxy at 400 mg per day, before starting Amox.  But now that I'm looking at and dreading the work week, and the evening depression is coming on, I think I'd like to set the doxy aside and start the Amox.
I've taken 200 mg of Doxy today. Can I go on and start Amox now?
My Amox script is 3500 mg per day.  This sound OK? Just want to be sure, since this Doc has 'miscommunicated' w/ the pharmacy before....

I'm not sure if you took the Amox or not but I would wait until tomorrow and start fresh.

Also, I think Ticker said that the recommended dose for Amox was 3000mg or higher. Maybe ask her to be sure.
