ever since i started ABX back in may, my skin is super sensitive to everything now.. I'm light skinned anyways, but the slightest touch, makes my skin turn red. Its almost pink looking. and now i have a heat rash thing going on my butt cheeks that itches.. I'm on Rifampin and Zithromax. and i've been itching alot lately too.. weird stuff..

Hey James, I sure wouldn't know, but it sure sounds like a call to the Dr asap in the morning is in order. Could be allergic reaction, sounds like.
Bit 1972: Acute and chronic tonsillitis, UTI, miscarraige, appendicitis, hypoglycemia,  chronic neck pain w/ crushed vertibrae, chronic severe back pain, mitral valve prolapse, depression, resolution?
Bit Mother's Day 2007: Lyme, Babesia microti, hypothyroidism, EBV, HHV6, Parvovirus B19, low adrenals &misc other hormones, depression, anxiety, more of the above.
What don't these nasty bugs cause?
CD57= 60, so we're in pretty good shape.

James,

You should contact your doctor, although I can appreciate that it is easier said than done. A couple of thoughts:

You may have yeast which can show up on the skin in forms of rashes that itch. Even if you have faithfully taken your probiotics it can happen. You may need an antifungal such as diflucan.

Sensitive red and rashy skin can be the sign of a systemic infection, which you already know that you have. Possibly an antihistamine might help.

Are you allergic to anything, such as mold, trees, dust mites, etc? We have had so much rain this summer and the moistue, pollens, and molds are high.

Is all your blood work normal?

Just some thoughts but be sure to call your doctor. I sympathize with itching and sensitive skin - I have the worst and it drives me crazy!
Take care,
bcaring
