My feet hurt so bad! Sooooooo bad! It is the worst when I wake up. It is getting worse and worse. Yesterday morning I could barely walk ,in the morning. And I need to wake up and pick up my baby and walk up stares. I mean you guys its like haveing a perminent charlie horse. Is is like the feet are tight annd they wont relax. Along with the pain on the bottom of the soles that just hurts.

What is that?
What causes that in Bart? How does it concentrate in the feet?
I am exploreing this now because it is obviously a problem I need to address.

What is the treatment I should ask for? To you who have dealt with it, is it as hard as lyme to eradicate? What is the ABX to use?

What is any information that you can give me for bart.

I have this. I get the muscle tightness. When it 1st started years ago I thought my shoes were too tight!

Also sometimes when I walk it feels like I am walking on bones without cushion. Best description I have heard of yet for it.

I have troubles walking because of this too. Not sure why Bart likes the feet?

I forget which LLMD you see? I think you see my old one? Dr S? Did you get tested for Bart?

I tested negative for Bart but know I have it. The test for for only one or 2 strains and there are many strains. It is referred to BLO (Bartonella Like Organism) because of the many strains. I have been treating Bartonella specifically for one year with Rifampin and Minocycline and now Rifampin and Zithromax and my feet still ache.

When I first treated for Lyme and babs 2 1/2 years ago the pains went away for about a year. It came back 1 1/2 years ago-I don't know why. I have read that Bartonella can be extremely resistant and can take a long time to eradicate.

Blessings

I started going to a woman that does TBM (Total Body Modification) and she also has a rife machine that I've been using as part of my treatment. It seems to be helping. I usually Herx the day after using the rife. My Bart rash on the side of my leg has been getting smaller since I started treatment. The herxes are miserable but I believe that I am making progress.
Good luck.

my foot just started hurting yesterday, it is my left foot, its like a knot under my foot. i had to use a wrap today so i could work. i'm on rifampin and zithro to. my LLMD today said it was probably a herx and to stop for a couple of days if i wanted.. i'm not going to stop yet.. if it transfers to the other foot, then i will.. This happened to me in the afternoon..

Sorry, it does sound like bart! My llmd told me the labs only test for 2 strains but there are over 30 so you have to treat by symptoms. And feet that hurt in the morning is classic. My shins used to hurt but not my feet.
I have lumps along my shin bones. Levaquin got the bart under control very quickly but also gave me tendonitis so I had to quit. Now I take 16 HH capsules a day and am doing very well. Another symptom of bart is anxiety so don't let this get to you. On the bright side, you will feel much better once you address it. I felt like a new person in just a few weeks. Before that nothing mattered. I was like a zombie.

I was diagnosed with Bart too. My feet always hurt. I feellike I'm walking on glass sometimes. When I elevate them, they seem to hurt worse and I can't get them comfortable.

V, I am still in the same boat not 1 Dr i am able to go to will treat me as of yet. the test for lyme the nuero ran came back negitive. i just found this out a few hrs ago. so there whent my last chance for treatment.

i dont like to be such a downer, but right now i feel as tho lyme will kill me without any treatment.

i hope your treatment is working for you and you and the baby will have better days ahead.
