When I started having knee issues in 2002, I had a test done for Lyme Disease which came back positive. Still had issues with the knee and had surgery. Other than the blood test, I had no rash or any other symptoms that would have made me think of Lyme. Since then, I've been on several courses of doxy (which makes me extremely sick) and done several different herbal treatments, under the guidance of a naturopath. Still have Lyme showing up on blood tests, though, and I don't feel 'sick'. To top it all off, I'm also allergic to many antibiotics.

Have tested negative to ehrlichia, babesia, Epstein Barr, West Nile & cytomeglia.

Took all my test results to a Lyme literate dr (former president & current board member of ILADS) and he didn't see any of my symptoms or test results leading to me having Lyme anymore.

Does this mean that I do NOT have Lyme?

Still have pain & fatigue issues, along with a severe intolerance to heat.

I think that after getting lyme will also have the bug in our system. And don't worry, with most bugs able to carry it you are not alone.
But try taking collidal silver every day and large pack of supplements. Your immune system needs the help.
I had too many to list...and was sick for a long time till I got treatment at envita.
But your body may be doing a better job than most at keeping the lyme in check.
I myself did not get better with doxy or any and all of the large doses of abx that I took.
But my baby got well on immediate huge doses of amoxy.
I think doxy is awful, and made me want to
Work on charging up your immune system, hit a whole foods. Talk to them about the lyme. Yes you still have it. They can help you get your defenses up for it.

Do you really think that lot's of us are carrying the bacteria in our system?

I presume you are referring to the possible other vectors carrying the bacteria?
