I was away on vacation for a week, and had no access to internet, which is why I haven't been here for a week. I tried to catch up on old posts, but there were way too many for me right now, sorry!

Although I had fatigue, I never had muscle fatigue/tiredness as a symptom...until now. Three weeks into my antibiotics, and I feel like a limp noodle of spaghetti. All of my strength has deserted me, and I feel worse than ever. Spent the holiday dizzy, light-headed, exhausted and generally feeling like crap. I thought that because my pain level had gone back to normal, my herx was over, but apparently not. I'm just hoping to get my ducks in a row before Wednesday, which is when I start school.

On the good side, my family read "Cure Unknown", and are now a lot more understanding of lyme. Unfortunately, they don't have much confidence in my ability to handle a full course load at school. And, because of the strict rules for scheduling and courses, dropping a course this semester could mean I have to drop a whole bunch of courses next semester....I wouldn't mind taking an extra semester of school, but I am honestly wondering if it is possible at this point. I have until Sept 15 to decide, and there are people who can help me with the scheduling at school, but I'm a little stressed. If I can just get through the next 8 months, I'll be on another internship, and those require far less brain power than school. So I'll be crossing my fingers and praying hard for the next couple of weeks

Hey Nicky. I was wondering where you had disappeared to. I was just about to post asking if anyone had heard from you.

I'm so sorry your feeling yucky again. Don't push yourself too hard in school and don't be too down on yourself if you have to drop some classes. Maybe going slower might be better. I'm sure you know your own body though and how much you can push it. Make sure to also take your supplements, especially Vitamin C. I made it through college last year by taking 1000mg of Vitamin C and Echinacea daily.

Good luck with everything!
