Hi I have been working with Lymes for two years now, i have been through two runs of dox and i still got symptoms (though less pronounced), then just this summer i went and hung out with a homeopath in vermont and he recommended Ledum and you know what it worked. I was steadfastly not convinced when i tried it, but after four days my arthritis in the arms and neck just went away, has anyone else had luck with homeopathy? the way the homeopath explained it was that the Ledum caused my body to fight the disease to a balance point and that once the pain goes away to discontinue use, then if it crops up again use the Ledum again. I also recommend the protocals involving Cats Claw, Sarsaparilla and Astragalus

I use homeopathy to manage some symptoms and to strengthen my immune system. I've tried the Ledum and it didn't work for me - I suspect I either need a different potency and/or different remedy for my case. Homeopathy needs to be customized to the individual for best results. Ledum antidotes the venom and treats the puncture wound from insect bites, which is why it is recommended for Lyme. I think it works best with relatively new infections...longer-standing infections probably require additional remedies or stronger potencies that are only available from homeopathic pharmacies.

Chronic Lyme Disease, Gluten & Sulfite Sensitivity, Many Food/Inhalant/Medication/Chemical Allergies & Intolerances, Asthma, Gut issues (dysmotility, non-specific inflammation), UCTD ("Secondary Lupus-Like Syndrome"), Osteoporosis, chronic Lymphopenia, intermittant pancytopenia, chronic malabsorption/malnutrition, etc.; G-Tube; Currently TPN-dependent.
Meds:  Pulmicort, IV Ceftazidime, Heparin (to flush PICC line), Claritin, Domperidone, Colloidal Silver (used topically), probiotics, homeopathy.
