I get this in my thigh muscles after not really doing anything at all...I have lots of weird nerve stuff sometimes. Sorry I can't explain it, but you're not alone.

Yes. I get this in the middle of the night after I've been asleep for a bit. Every night. Drives me nuts. Have figured out that eating potatoes makes it more intense, but otherwise nothing else seems to make any difference. I'm not sure if it is a Lyme thing, a Bartonella thing, or something else...

I'm chalking it up to a Lyme thing. Never had this before the tick bite. Swear this disease does some crazy things to us. It is kind of understandable that some doctors would think we were crazy. The only people who understand my symptoms are you guys and you all have Lyme. Good to know I am not alone.

This symptom hits me when I am coming out if a bad herx. I swear this never ends. Sorry for the venting the plaq/biaxin is kicking my butt and I am tired.

Hi Lovelabs,
I deal with very painful legs - especially at night, as I try to settle down to get some rest. It's almost a sure bet it's from one of the TBI's, but I have not yet been able to remember which infection has which sx!!

My legs rarely feel warm to the touch - but the pain I feel is definitely a neuro thing. It usually resides deep within my thighs & lower leg - a lot of times the pain is in my bones as well.

I try to use heat or cold to help reduce the pain enough that I can at least lay still enough to get to sleep. Poor hubby - I'm sure that it's like trying to go to sleep next to a 5 yr old that doesn't want to go to sleep!!!

My  hands burn nonstop as if I picked up a pan from the oven with bare hands, some times worse that other times but never stops.  My feet burn too but  not as bad as my hands.  Feels like I walked on hot pavement with bare feet.  My palms actually have a red,  rash like appearance.

Hi Strongmom,
I'm sorry but my memory refuses to work any more today - didn't do me much good today before this either though!

Although, I DO know I've read somewhere - on a very reliable site that a rash on the palms of your hands is a sx of one of the TBI's.

Hopefully, some kind soul will come along and rescue me from my memory & just tell you which one of the TBI's causes this!!!

Until then, I'm right there with you!

I get this as well. Mostly in my legs, feet and my temples. It can be so strong it's almost painful. My LLMD says it's just a symptom of nerve irritation from lyme disease (nerves are what cause the burning feeling)

Thanks you guys for making me feel better. I get this much worse in my feet when my heels are hurting. Which basically is atleast 2 weeks a month. I think it sucks. When your feet hurt everything hurts!

Wishing all of you a good day today.
