Well after months and months of trying to get our new house, we finally did it. We closed at the end of August and it was very stressful to say the least and I started to not feel too well. I thought after the move was over, it would pass as it normally does. Boy was I wrong. I moved and unpacked for about 7 days straight and felt pretty good. Enjoying my new house and then it hit me. Slowly starting going downhill and a week later still waiting for it to pass. I swear, just when life gives you something really good, like a new baby, then a new house, it has to make you pay for it just a little bit with our health. Why is that? Why can't we stay well long enough to enjoy all these great things in life.

I am hoping this bout passes. I know I overdid it with all the moving and going from a ranch to three stories is a lot more exercise than I was used to on a daily basis. I just hate that all these years later and after almost winning against this illness, I still have to pace myself or I end up feeling sick for a couple weeks.

I just had to vent. I  have a very sick little one at home and not feeling well myself makes for some really difficult days.

jeminij,

I'm so sorry you are feeling bad again. I'm glad you felt good for the move though because you definitely need energy for that. There has been a bad flu going around. You think that maybe it could be that since your little one is sick?

I hope this passes soon for you. Make sure to get some rest.

My heart goes out to you, jeminij. It does always feel like we pay way too high a price for just a few simple pleasures.

Hope this all passes soon for you & your little one.

Thanks. Just wish life was a little bit more normal at the time being. Haven't had any sleep with a sick baby up all night so making for tough days right now. Hopefully she will get better soon so I can get some much needed rest and start to feel like myself again. I have so much to do but lately find myself just trying to sit down and lay down whenever possible. I don't like that feeling and it has been a long time since I have felt this way so getting a little nervous that my symptoms are back to stay, but hoping they pass once again soon.

Wow! You have so much to be grateful for. Try and focus on that and the symptoms will dissipate.
