ear pain without infection, anyone know something over the counter that helps?

How many of you get the terrible ear pain? Is there anything over the counter that helps?  Thank you for your input.

i have this from time to time. and i did buy something OTC for it that seemed to help me. i can not remember the name but it was the only one wal-mart has for it. you just places the drops in your ear and wow what a relief.

I have to admit, I've been watching for someone to answer - sorry, but I don't have any clue as to anything that might help. I suffer with ear pains, ringing, & all kinds of other sounds.

It's pretty much a constant in my life any more, but I'm under-tx & un-tx right now - so I figure there was little I could do.

Thank you for the info about the stuff at WalMart. My job requires me to be on the phone all day,  and the ear pain I've suffered since getting sick really affects me.  When you use the ear medicine,  does it affect your hearing at all?  This would be good to know if I'm using it at work.  Nighttime wouldnt matter if hearing is skewed though lol.

it didnt seem to bother my hearing at all. you can use it in the mornings and night time, so you wouldnt have to aply it at work. they are drops so at first it may feel funny to have it in your ear. but it did work for me. and i pray it works for ya'll
