I bought a supplement for my horses and just found out it is also made for humans. It is a special vitamin/ mineral etc mix that does wonders for pain and it is relatively inexpensive. It is called Equine Leg Magic if you want to google it and you can call the vet that makes it to ask if it might help you with pain and healing.

I started it four days ago - have been using the horse formula as I did not know about the human. I have had pain in my shoulder every night for 6 months. It is very hard to sleep. I started another supplement called Rapid Response a month ago and it helped a lot. Before that, I was waking up at least four times a night and had to sleep propped up with pillows in a sitting position. RR reduced so much of the pain that I was only waking up twice and could lay down on my back but still had to have several pillows keeping me up.

The first night I used the ELM I slept normally with no pain no matter what position I laid in. I ran out of RR a few days ago and am still doing well. I also have reduced hot flashes.
My shoulder pain came from tendonitis from levaquine given to me last Feb. It is thought levaquin reduces the circulation making the tendons prone to injury. As my greatest pain was at night I wondered if it was from reduced circulation. Maybe ELM increases circulation. That would be very good to get abx, herbs etc deeper into your tissue for healing.

Someone posted this is supposed to be good for plantar fiscititis (?) which is foot pain from swelling that is worse in the morning. This seems very similar to bartonella.

There is tremendous agreement among users of this mixture that it does wonders to help lame horses. The vet says it will even reverse conditions such as arthritis which is hard to believe but people say it is happening. I have not seen improvement in my animals yet but I sure feel it in myself.

Hi nefferdun,

Thanks for this info.  What is the best way to buy this product-----from a vet, at a farm/feed supply store, online etc.?   Is this product a rub-on cream or is it a liquid or capsule taken by mouth?

I am so happy for you that the product is working.  I hope you continue to have success with treatment!

Thank you,    bablymers mom

Our internet server was down for three days so could not respond. Just google "Equine Leg Magic" and it will come up. You can call the vet directly who makes it and talk to her about what you want to use it for to see if it might help. I still have no pain at night - and my shin pain is also going away.

For the horses I got 375 doses (1 tablespoon twice a day) which is 25 lbs for $175. She sent me the dog formula free. Using the horse formula this would last me 6 years!

Be aware that this product (the horse version, anyway) contains mineral oil, which is derived from petroleum and may cause cancer.

Also, there is yeast culture in this product - I don't know what the implications are for those fighting yeast from long term abx...

There are other products out there with similar long lists of nutrition that do not contain mineral oil and yeast such product is Alpha ENF ( )...I use the Alpha ENF myself, it tastes like vegetable broth. I have no financial connections with the Alpha ENF product or company.
