I know that one of the symptoms of bartonella can be feeling "like you got hit by a truck" after exercise. Although I seemed to have every other symptom of bartonella, I hadn't that that one...until now.

I started new antibiotics a week ago, and holy cow! I walked around for an hour on Wednesday, and on Thursday, well, I might not have felt like I got hit by a truck...but certainly a small car! Everything hurt! It's crazy- parts of my body that had nothing to do with walking hurt (and still hurt).

Hopefully this is just a reaction to the change of antibiotics, and not a permanent thing! Although, the plus side is that it makes it easy to fool myself into thinking I did a "hardcore" workout! :-)

If I had a bath, I think I'd be living in it. I turn my shower on hot, and sit in the bottom of fact, I think I'll go do that now!

Ohhh, Nicky!!
I'm so sorry this has shown it's ugly little head with you!!! It's a nasty, nasty feeling!!

For bathing, we only have a shower as well. I had an old trough made for critters (goats, horses, cows etc.) & I have drug it into my house!!!

Goofy & hubby just shakes his head at me - he believes I can come up with some of the weirdest ideas!!
It's been said:LD patients can be as ill as people w/ congest. heart failure & in as much pain as post-op patients.

Bartonella is evil. I've been battling some things myself. That feeling of getting hit by a truck is the worst! I hope you get to feeling better soon.
