So I bought the solo sunlight sauna far infrared, I tried it for the first time tonight, I did 9 minutes on level 4 (120 degrees) only just my knees down.   I didn't get hot and didn't sweat, it just felt like radiant heat on my lower legs.   I thought this was a small enough first dose to not provoke a reaction, well 9 minutes in I was nausea and stomach cramps/diahrea.  It has been 30 minutes and it is not getting better.  I am on IV doxy with Malarone and Nystatin.  I have Lyme, Bartonella and Babesia.  Oh, and my knees down are all tingly even 30 minutes later.

I am just worried about the nausea and cramps.  It came on so fast and isn't letting up, this isn't my normal detox reaction (Usual body aches, headaches and fatigue).  Of course I am worried it will get worse and be serious.

Anyone have any information.  Does the infrared conflict with the Doxy?  or Malarone?  Is this just an extremely fast and acute detox reaction?  I am sooo confused and a bit scared of course.  Why do I do these things on Sunday night when all the doctors are closed?

Thanks.

Oh man, Cmacaran!!
I'm so sorry you are going through such a rough time!! I wish I had some answers or suggestions for you.

If I was you, I would definitely give my LLMD a call 1st thing in the am!!! It seems to be kind of a quiet night here, but hopefully someone can give you answers soon.

Please let us know how you are doing tomorrow - if you are feeling up to it.
My thoughts & prayers are with you tonight.

thanks for the empathy. the bad nausea, cramps and chills passed and now I am just having low stomache ache and aches and pains in my kidney regions. I am thinking - hey I will probably live. If it was detox it was the fastest detox ever, seriously 9 minutes with my legs in a sauna? Well, I guess no more sauna for me. One more good idea turned bad idea.

I skipped my abx tonight just to give myself a break. Will see hopefully it will all resolve by tomorrow. Thanks again.

Just a thought, are you sure you weren't dehydrated?  I usually drink about 16 oz of water before I take my sauna, if i don't I don't really sweat much, but feel really bad after.  KO
