So after my knee buckling on me and sharp knifelike stabbing pains in the knee they ordered another MRI.  My synovial fluid in my very arthritic knee is thickening which can point to a bacterial infection in the knee.  The previous MRI indicated severe arthritis in all three compartments of my knee and baker's cysts.
My ortho doc would not draw the synovial fluid to have it analyzed.  My rheumotologist does not draw fluid.  Yet, the ortho doc says I have to be treated for whatever is going on.  Oh yi yi!!!!!!!!  Guess we already have Obamamedicine.  So, after having a "meltdown" in the ortho's office he has referred me to a new rheumotologist who will draw the fluid.
I have put myself back on doxy that I had left over from being previously treated for lyme ( actually bart).
Now the knee is much better but I am getting wicked headaches during the day.  The headaches last a short time but are severe.  They change the time of day that they start.  They began at night, then went to late afternoon, then mid afternoon, and I started my drive to work today with a pounding headache which returned late afternoon.
What, oh what, is going on??????????
