Anyone? Head felt too heavy for neck and then turning it certain ways invoked a tremor sometimes.  Been happening the last two days.  Also a clicking sound in the head at one point-like the bone or something.  Get this clicking or twitching in my arms too- like its near the bone-also twitching in the stomach.   neck or head tremors a sign of potential seizure??

Update on Progress- went to nautropath today and she wants to put me on heavy doses of paracidin (anti parasite formula) and gall bladder and kidney support.  She did QRA testing or quantum reflex testing and said i have microscopic parasites- real bad- possibly lyme as these qualify as microscopic parasites but she thinks it might be something else too.  She suggests 48 caps a day of the parasite formula and same for the gall bladder formula.  I feel a little nervious about taking such large amounts.  I have no clue what to do at this point especially since all the supplements she wants me on cost 1,676.10 total.  we will have to take out a loan to do this and i'm just not sure how smart that is at this point.  Maybe this is why people don't go to nautropaths! I wish the natural way to do things was just a bit more affordable.

Hey finding,

I get twitching in my arms and jumping/twitching in my stomach. It's like my stomach area "jumps" up. It's weird. I guess it's part of the jerking I get all over. I also have head jerking too and have never had a seizure yet. These jerks are called Myoclonic Jerking. When Lyme invades the nervous system, this can happen.

The supplements I take are very expensive too. I'm sure they are over $1000.00 as well. Once you make that initial big payment, you won't have to spend that much again. Usually, most supplements come with 60-90 pills. That's why it's so expensive. I'm thinking about going natural for a while myself. The first time I was on the supplements, it did help and I did notice a difference. I will be taking mastic gum for parasites in the next few days. My supplement lady thinks that parasites are a big cause of making people sick.

Good luck with whatever you decided to do.

Yep, parasites play a HUGE role. My naturopath considers lyme infections to be parasites. Mastic gum? wow haven't heard of that but let me know how it goes! Yes, i'm hoping after a month of doing what she says i might be feeling just a tad bit better! Parasites cause all kinds of problems-just as many as lyme actually and its not good to treat one without treating the other as well. Thankfully there are actually herbs that treat multiple parasites. My friend keeps reminding me how multi-purpose "samento" is. It's an anti viral, anti parasitic herb also commonly used to treat lyme. how neat! three things in one! It is so encouraging to know i'm not the only one with head jerking-it really gives me a scare. It actually did happen in the nautropaths office and she lead me through this great breathing excercise that really helped me calm down. It's amazing how different they approach things than regular doctors. Anyway please keep us updated on your new treatmnt "a natural journey to wellness" as id like to think of it. I really do believe in the power of herbs and plants- they were put on this earth for a reason after all-whether anyone believes that or not- they serve valuable purposes. Unfortuantely most of us are just no longer familiar with many of them! I just wonder if they can do what man's medicine cannot. Man will never be able to match breastmilk- no matter how many different formulas they make for babies each company still must confess they are NO match for what comes from the mother. I've always laughed when i read their material- "breastmilk is the best for your baby, but if your doctor recommends formula we have the right one for you." If i hadn't have gotten sick i would still be breastfeeding...that was a tough one to let go. How did i get way off subject??? LOL I can talk the night away!

lol, don't worry, I do the same thing. Sometimes I get so off subject that I forget what I was first talking about, haha!

Good luck with everything. Sounds like a good plan.

This past couple of weeks I've been a total jerk! That is I've had uncontrollable shakes, tremors and jerks, and a buzzing feeling like a cell phone on vibrate in my skull, arms and several points in my back. I'm thinking that I really have these bacteria on the run now and I'm going to stay with my treatment of biaxin, chlarithramyacin and artemisinin. My husband wants me to go to a neurologist -- I'm pretty sure that they will just do test after test and then tell me it is the Lyme. I find the sleeping pill Ambien calms the twitiching down enough to get some sleep. Rest is so important.

Good Luck, Finding!

finding,

I've had the feeling that my head was too heavy, and I've had twitching, though the twitching is very subtle and mostly something I feel not something that shows. I think it's great that you're seeing a naturopath - I do too, in addition to my LLMD. I let them each know what the other one has me doing to make sure that there are no conflicts. So far the approach has been very complementary and both practitioners approve of what the other recommends. I'm also planning to follow Dr. Burriscano's suggestions re supplements and exercise. Doing all of these things together makes me feel like I am doing as much as I can to help my body fight Lyme, et. al. The one other thing that I am doing that I am positive is helping a lot, especially with the twitching and heavy head, and with the body pain, is that I see a chiropractor. He is an upper cervical specialist specifically an atlas orthogonal chiropractor. I saw a different kind of chiropractor previously and he only made me worse, but this is very specific and very gentle and I've seen immense improvement.

Also, if you want an alternative to Ambien for the twitching, you might try Atarax (not sure of spelling). I've used that in the past and it was amazing.

Thanks Rose and grace, I will ask about the atarax! Well i checked with an herbalist and he said 48 caps of what she wants me to do is NOT safe- and he is very lyme literate so I'm taking his word on this one and looking for another naturopath. The nice thing is this herbalist offers free help and has been around many years with a solid company. I just ordered some Venus Fly Trap and Clarkia for parasites. Don't ever take megadoses of wormwood- it could quite literaly kill you! I sent an email asking my naturopath about this very politely and she never responded. Well...moving on! I will be overjoyed when i get in good hands, this herbalist seems pretty good though. I told him he should be a doctor for lymies b/c he explains things very carefully- something crucial for us! :)

finding,

48 caps of anything seems excessive - if you were supposed to take that large a dose they would not package it into such small caps. Wormwood - well for starters if it has the word "worm" in it, it sounds unappealing. I don't remember what absynthe is made of, but I think it is wormwood, and that is something one must be careful with because it can be lethal. Frankly I can forego anything for recreational ingestion that, if I have too much, could kill me. That goes for puffer fish too, with one exception. I've always said that if I were on death row puffer fish and absynthe would be my last dinner request because at that point, what the heck! Now I can add your wormwood capsules to the menu. Sorry for the stream of consciousness commentary. It's just that if the 48 caps were wormwood, that sounds irresponsible to me and calls to mind various murder mysteries I've read (ergo the absynthe).

I'm glad you checked that out. You are certainly having a difficult time finding credible practitioners. I'm happy to hear the herbalist is working for you.

Artemesinin is refined Wormwood, so you only have to take one or two capsules. Like any other good medicine -- or tool for that matter -- it is dangerous so it should be taken under the oversight of a qualified physician/practitioner. They would monitor your liver and kidney function if you are on it a long time. It has really helped me make progress.

I found conflicting info on wormwood and artemesinin- both can be neurotoxic aand cause convulsions but in right doses are supposed to be helpful- i am really at a crossroads now about whether to try any as i get twitching already! And i'm sure i have neurotoxins. It just feels like i take a step forward and then one step back
