Hi I just wanted to say I've been doing these natural products over a week now and feel much better. I haven't offically been dignoised with Lyme's but some have reviewed my postings and suggest I may have Lyme's. My doc said I did two weeks ago and now says I do not. I'm seeling a LLMD in December. The Allicin reports it's kills restistant bacteria and is good for Lyme's or MERSA infections. I take 6 caps a day, but I have noticed with all I'm doind, even taking Nixol for yeast, I'm feeling much better. I just wanted to share what seems to be working for me. Please read on the Allicin.

Very mild left sided (could have fooled me with the "mild")  UC. Started and stopped LDN ON 1/25/09 to mid May no improvements. Tried Asacol, Pentesa, Colozol, Sulfasulsadine and Lialda, they made me worse. Supplements: Probiotics, multi, iron,Allimed Allicin, Apple Cider Vinegar, very low yeast/sugar/wheat  No UC meds at this time.

Why do you use apple cider vinegar?

I have a yeast problem as well. Its a good immune and energy booster too. I take it was honey in my water or you can buy from Bragg already made drinks. I can't do juice or pop, too much sugar so this is my best choice and it's good for me. I just want to see my LLMD but that's in December!

therearemiracles,

That's very interesting to me. I quit ingesting anything that is aged or fermented because I understood it encouraged yeast overgrowth, with which I also have a problem. I'll have to do more research on this. Do you have any suggestions of things I could read?

Thanks,

Rose

Rose, I drank a tsp of ACV every day in water before I knew I had Lyme and it helped with many things. Pain, headaches, inflammation, sore throat, etc...

a great website to read on different ailments where you will find most of the time the cure is ACV is www.earthclinic.com

there is also something called Oil pulling which I used to do and know works very well for many different things. I think there's info on how to do it there or you can google oil pulling. If you have any questions let me know. Also my email is jenim24@aol.com

I could not tolerate the allicin very long as the smell is overwhelming. You are very strong! In his book Schaller wrote he never met anyone that took allicin longer than two weeks because of the smell. I think I made a month. ACV is great stuff. Helps control yeast and is good for indigestion. Supposed to also help with arthritis. I give it to my horses and use it myself on salads with olive oil.

To Willowrose,

you are right...ACV is not good to take when you are on antibiotics because of the yeast issues...my husband has lyme and we used to take ACV daily before he was diagnosed...we will resume after antibiotics but dr. R suggested not to take together... good luck.

Thanks for adding that - I did buy some vinegar but was waiting to take it until I talked with my LLMD next week. I'll feed it to my husband.

Within 40 minutes of drinking apple cider vinegar, I could feel it attacking every spot where I had lyme. The right side of my head, my left ear and neck、down my rib cage and my legs. It was the worst herxing ever. I took 3oz in 6oz of apple juice.
