There is hope for the future.  This test will help identify lyme infection in people by giving uninfected ticks the blood of people suspected to have lyme.

I have to agree!!! Poetic justice!!! It's a shame they won't have to live with Lyme & other TBI's as long as some of us have had to!!!!
It's been said:LD patients can be as ill as people w/ congest. heart failure & in as much pain as post-op patients.

Willowrose: I am not able to open this link. My question is: How can they test those nasty little things for lyme w/o killing them? (to make sure they are not infected first)
Bit 1972: Acute and chronic tonsillitis, UTI, miscarraige, appendicitis, hypoglycemia,  chronic neck pain w/ crushed vertibrae, chronic severe back pain, mitral valve prolapse, depression, resolution?
Bit Mother's Day 2007: Lyme, Babesia microti, hypothyroidism, EBV, HHV6, Parvovirus B19, low adrenals &misc other hormones, depression, anxiety, more of the above.

Can you copy the URL and get there that way? I can try to resend it if you want me to. Good question - I have no idea how they decide if a tick is infected. I'll have to dig around a little to see if I can find out about that. What I found inspiring is that there is hope that in the future (maybe not to distant future) there might be a way to establish conclusively that chronic Lyme is not a post-Lyme syndrome.

I have Lyme; it doesn't have me.
