Thanks for sharing that.

I have Lyme; it doesn't have me.

Thanks! I was just about to post that. I thought it was really good, considering how backwards Canada seems to be in terms of Lyme disease (P.S. I'm Canadian, so I'm not Canada bashing :) )

Peacesoul, Thanks for sharing. It was very good but not surprisingly I cried through the entire thing just as I did with Under Our Skin.! Believe it or not it was a Canadian website that really hit home with everything I was experiencing and finally led me to see a lyme literate doctor here in NY.

Oh, I just meant our medical system is way behind. We have plenty of information on Lyme disease, but it seems to get even less acknowledgment here than it does in the US

Thankyou so much for posting that peacesoul. I too am Canadian and have been tested twice, negatively, in Canada for Lyme. I  have been suffering only a 19 months, but compared to so many of you it seems like nothing. Yet, I walk like a drunk, the pain and burning in joints and other areas of my body that you'd wonder why there nono   I have trouble finding words, vertigo, horrible tinnitus in both ears,....etc. Now I have been diagnosed with Conversion Disorder and am being ordered by my insurance to have psychotherapy. I want to get paid so smilewinkgrin Whatever! I worked 28 years for Canada Post as postmaster and loved my job, until 19 months ago when I woke up with vertigo so bad I was hospitalized. What do they think, that I'm faking it, no they think stress and trauma has made me like this. Everyone has gone through things in life, we'd all be walking funny. yeah I got quite a few calls about the show from friends and family that they were watching, that was so good.
Take care, Nancy

Hi peacesoul,
How very sad about this girl..  Yet it's good that Canada is getting more recognition regarding this disease.
How are you doing?  I still haven't made it to Vermont yet..

This song is about my years with chronic lyme since 1995 and being in remission for over 3 years:

Hi peacesoul,

Thank you for this link.  It is encouraging to know that Some news stations are taking lyme disease issues seriously.  I thought the short news segments were well done.  Too bad there aren't more USA stations doing the same.  I am going to pass this link on.  Thanks again for sharing it.

Best wishes to you,   bablymers mom
