I am wondering if anyone is on or has been on IM Penicillin G for either the 1.2 mil units per week or 2.4 or any other dosage.

I understand the spirochete for syphilis is killed with 2.4 units given once per week for a three week period.

Since the spirochetes are similar to lyme I am wondering if it works for anyone in this group or if it has worked for anyone.

Thank you.

Hi Sunshine,

Welcome to the forum!

Are you currently treating Lyme or is this research?

Can you get Penicillin G on the internet? I was wondering exactly the same thing! The Doctors dont believe or dont care. It will be one of us that solves this mess!

I know of one person who did IM Peniccilin three times a week for Lyme. It was after years of antibiotic treatments. She claims this was the final antibiotic treatment she did before she went into remission for 8 years now. She did treat with many other antibiotic first (the usual suspects), and she does a lot of vitamins and herbals even to this day to keep her immune system supported. I think IM Pennicilin it is a valid treatment, but expect to do it for several months. She also mentioned that after a while your butt hurts from the shots and it is painful.

Is IM penicillin by chance shots of penicillin? If so, my LLMD considered giving me a shot once per week, it just wasn't feasible as far away as he was and my job. He said that it was very effective against Lyme. I do not know what the dosage would have been. If he had been closer and I could have afforded his fees, I would have done this. It knocks late state syphillis out, so I think it is definitely worth a try and sounds very sensible.  Not sure, but I think he had said he could teach me to inject myself and that it was not hard.

But seeing as everyone is different, it is probably not for everybody.

You can find IM or injection form of Penicillan G on the net. It is less expensive than from a pharmacist, ususally.

I found it interesting that CMACAREN new someone who had gone into remission with 3 shots a week. I wonder how many weeks she was treated.

If that worked for her, then why aren't more people getting this treatment?

For +Lyme, if you could find someone in your area to give you injections, that would be one way to try it. A nurse can do this. I don't know how hard it is to do yourself. You probably can't inject into your bum very easily, as the video's I have seen showing how to inject intramuscular requres that you pull the needle out to check for blood just prior to pushing the injection into the muscle. However you could do this in your thigh.

Those are the only two places I have been told are where those injections should be made.

I don't listen to standard procedures all the time. For instance, if syphilis is caused by T Pallidum and it is a spirochete killed by Penicillin G, then why isn't the Lyme and Leptosporosis spirochete treated with the same medicine as syphillis?

I don't care that scientist have given spirochetes different names like Lyme, Syphilis, and Leptosporosis. I care that if a spiral uninvited guest is in your body and you want it gone, that you use what works.

Before I learned about spirochetes I did not know about syphilis and it's transmission. Did you know you can catch syphilis by kissing? I wonder how many ways you can catch Lyme.

I am not convinced that there is much or any difference between the spirochetes of those three named diseases.

I also have dificulty in refering to them as bacteria, as they are truly Flagella and act more like a parasite.

But, they can't be a parasite, since parasites are for people in other countries, the US doesn't have any parasites. (Just kidding, but that is the politically correct way to explain parasitic disease in the US). Most doctors don't know a darn thing about Lyme or other diseases.

Which is why I am leaning towards the perfect treatment being a penicillan G at high enough doses and an antiparasitic drug in combination.

Any opinions about antiparasitic drugs for Lyme?

I realize I have gone into a lot of different pieces of information but I truly agree with Mother Natures Child that will probably be figured out by people. Screw the scientist, they don't really care if you or I live, they just care if they live!

Good health to you all and thank you for your comments!

Sunshine,

Hi again:) Are you currently being treated for Lyme?

A lot of what you said does make sense. I think the reason they don't use penicillian as often is because so many people are allergic to it. I think, but don't quote me, that Rocephin is one antibiotic that replaced penicillian.

Hi, and thanks for asking CajunGrl. A few days after completing just over 2 months of oral Amox (3500 mg/day), and after agonizing mental/emotional problems, I experienced much relief. The severe pain in my back, pelvic bone, and crunching stiff neck remain -- however, obviously damage was done in these that will never be repaired. However, the pain is not as constant. I have not had the inflammatory type pain, throbbing, buzzing, sore flu-like pain. I have experienced improvement, altho not complete relief, of the horrible anxiety and depression. Cognitive issues are not gone, but are usually (not always) improved.

I experienced the wonder that the Amox could have cured me. However, occasionally I feel it trying to sneak up on me. My babesia was never treated (nor suspected Bart). Maybe that is why.

I'm trying to hang on w/ Echinwhatever, megadoses of C, garlic, and all the rest until I can find an LLMD. If I ever get organized, I will set myself up some natural cures in addition to the vites. Added in some serious prayer and mental imagery. Got a Chi machine too I need to get back on.

So maybe the Amox whipped the Lyme, or maybe it went hiding -- I think we will find out. If it does come back and I can get an LLMD, I will be up for trying shots of penicillin. I agree -- this is too much like syphillis. Plus, I can handle penicillin.

Tryin to keep on movin forward..... All of you also! You all remain in my thoughts and prayers!
