Has anyone had any problems with OCD symptoms?  My daughter is having a rough time of it with her OCD.  She was diagnosed a long time ago and since she has started treatment for Lyme the things she feels compelled to do are getting worse and worse.  She has a pattern with her eyes that she has to follow - she does it until her eyes ache.  She has another issue with feeling like her bladder is spasming and she is afraid to leave the bathroom.  She has a real problem with germs, she is going to greater and greater lengths to avoid them.  It is a horrible thing to watch, she is so paralyzed  by all of this.  We are trying some of the Bach flower remedies to treat the symptoms but would love to hear if anyone has had any success with anything that has helped with this particular type of herx.

I'm so sorry your daughter has to go through this. It is terrible to watch them suffer. I just wanted to let you know that I experienced OCD symptoms while treating Bartonella. In fact, I posted about it here. I do have a few, small OCD problems but when I started treatment, everything was heightened and I had OCD symptoms I had never had before. They did settle down and others went away since I've stopped treatment. I had to stop per doctors orders.

I don't have an answer on what she can take to ease this but I wanted to tell you that you're not alone. I hope you can find something to help her out.
