Has anyone tried tindamax?  It's primarily used as an anti-parasitic.  Tinidazole has been reported to significantly reduce Lyme cyst formation.  In my mind one of the major factors that causes the persistant infection is that most of the antibiotics induce cysts (which appear to be quite dormant and resistant to the drugs).  In fact, treating lyme with antibiotics is one of the ways scientists induce cyst forms in cell culture.   Unfortunately, tinidazole is very similar to some other drugs that cause cancer.  Although, I assume that this drug is relatively safe if used as prescribed as it is FDA approved.

I was on 1000MG in Tindamax for almost 2 years. I did well with it and did not have any problems. I used it in conjunction with 2 other abx's. Pulsed the Tindy 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
